We are currently recruiting rehabilitation support workers in Leeds.
The Role
As a rehabilitation support worker, you will be supporting 10+ people with an acquired brain injury who have already undergone intensive rehabilitation.
Furthermore, you would need to assist clients with their rehabilitation goals and independent living skills.
- Required Criteria – Essential
- Minimum 2 professional care references that cover last 3 year*
- Excellent English communication skills, verbal and written
- Have the right to work in the UK and a National insurance number
- Have evidence of mandatory training certificates in date within the last 12 months (or willing to undergo training)
- Must have a clear Enhanced DBS *
- Must have an up to date CV
- Able to work in high demanding and fast paced environment
- Medication trained (Buccal Midazolam )
- Ability to work days or night shifts
- Commitment to professional development
- Abilities to monitor and record Vitals
- Challenging Behaviour training Experience working with brain injury
Skills specific to role
- Experience working in mental health
- Experience with clients with challenging behaviour
- Physically fit and able to undertake safe manual handling practices
- Understand the needs of adults with cognitive and physical impairment
