Our client is a leading multinational manufacturing group with a significant international presence and a reputation for operational excellence across its sector. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Supply Chain Planner to join their Supply Chain team based at their Ferrybridge facility.
Responsibilities:
- Manage stock levels and replenishment activities across a broad portfolio of finished products
- Analyse inventory holdings and identify opportunities to optimise stock levels and availability
- Monitor back orders and support the resolution of supply issues
- Coordinate packaging and materials replenishment requirements to support production operations
- Manage supplier data and maintain accurate pricing and master data within ERP systems
- Support direct shipment processes and coordinate transportation requirements
- Monitor outstanding orders and proactively manage delivery schedules
- Coordinate import logistics activities and support relationships with third-party suppliers and warehouses
- Produce regular KPI reports and analysis to support business decision making
- Support wider supply chain and logistics activities as required across the team.
Requirements:
- Previous experience within supply chain, planning, manufacturing, logistics or operations would be advantageous
- Graduates with a relevant degree and a strong interest in supply chain and manufacturing are encouraged to apply
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and manipulate large data sets
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential
- Experience using SAP or other ERP systems would be advantageous
- Excellent attention to detail and a highly organised approach to work
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across the business
