The predicted salary is between 32000 - 48000 Β£ per year.

Location: London (2 days WFH, hybrid working)

Salary: Β£40,000 - Β£60,000 + study support

Our client is a national property management group, based in north London. Due to the continued growth of the company, they are looking for a Service Charge Accountant to join the expanding Finance team.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of annual service charge accounts.
  • Process supplier invoices, payroll and employee expense claims in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Liaison with clients and auditors in respect of the preparation and presentation of year end accounts.
  • Drafting annual service charge accounts.
  • Service Charge Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
  • Analytical review of Income & Expenditure.
  • Provision of both regular and one-off client reports and accounting analysis.
  • Monthly client reporting.
  • Quarterly client reporting.
  • Bank reconciliations for year-end accounts.
  • Assist with finalising bank reconciliations as required.
  • Provision of accurate, timely and effective accounting information to all parties.
  • Liaison with Property Managers on accounting matters.
  • Liaison with different sections within the accounts department.
  • Ensuring the integrity of accounting records and controls in line with prevailing legislation.
  • Posting items on the management system (omissions & corrections) when reconciling service charge accounts.
  • Posting Accruals and Prepayments on system.

Role Requirements:

  • Service Charge/Client Accounting experience as well as property management knowledge is desirable but not essential.
  • Propman experience is preferable, but not essential.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and be well presented with a professional appearance.
  • Good organisational skills and are willing to be flexible and assist with a variety of different tasks within the department.
