Financial Accountant (Leeds)

Title : Financial Accountant Location : Leeds, hybrid (1 day WFH per week) Salary : £48,000 – £55,000 + bonus & wider benefits The company: Our client, a leading Real Estate/Housing group, is seeking a technically adept, Big Four/Top 10 audit trained Group Accountant to join their growing finance team in Leeds Responsibilities : Involvement in group consolidation process and the production of quarterly and annual statutory accounts under IFRS Preparation of parts of the quarterly management report and providing commentaries to management. Assisting with group budgeting and forecasting Preparation of additional supporting schedules for reviews and providing explanations and analysis as required to support key stakeholders. Maintenance and quarterly uploading of the Company’s lease, depreciation, deferred charges, interest accruals and other accounting schedules as required. Researching technical accounting issues and preparation of file notes and accounting memos for non-routine commercial transactions. (depending on experience) Role Requirements The ideal candidate will be a qualified ACA/ACCA with at least 3 years experience in external audit Relevant industry (Real Estate/Housing/Construction) knowledge is highly desirable Ability to work on own initiative or as a part of a team Ability to meet deadlines
