We are seeking a commercially astute and strategically minded Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join a dynamic and fast-growing commodity trading business. As a key member of the executive leadership team, the CFO will play a central role in shaping financial strategy, enhancing risk management, and supporting the company’s continued expansion across global markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting activities
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury operations in a trading environment
- Provide strategic insight to support trading decisions and business growth
- Drive fundraising, debt structuring, and capital restructuring initiatives
- Ensure robust regulatory compliance and best-in-class financial governance
- Act as a key liaison with banks, investors, auditors, and external stakeholders
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as CFO or senior finance leader within a commodity trading firm
- Strong understanding of trading P&L, risk, and funding structures
- In-depth knowledge of exotic products and derivatives
- Experience in banking or private equity, with a strong track record in fundraising and complex capital/debt structuring
- Strategic thinker with strong leadership and board-level influence
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent
