Title: Part-Time Family Office Accountant/Bookkeeper Location: London Salary: £40k - £60k (Full Time Equivalent) to be pro-rated for 2–3 days per week Our client is a privately owned family office with a portfolio of hotel and hospitality businesses. They are looking to appoint an experienced Part-Time Accountant/Bookkeeper to support the day-to-day finance function across the group. This is a hands-on role covering bookkeeping, payroll, invoice processing and month-end support, working closely with the wider business and external advisers. Key Responsibilities * Process purchase and sales invoices across the group. * Maintain accurate bookkeeping records and ensure transactions are correctly recorded. * Manage supplier payments, reconciliations and general accounts payable duties. * Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations. * Assist with month-end processes, including preparation of monthly P&L information. * Maintain the accounting records on Xero. * Process payroll accurately and on time, including starters, leavers, deductions and payroll adjustments. * Manage payroll-related administration, including pension contributions and statutory payments. * Assist with VAT and other routine finance and compliance requirements. * Liaise with hotel and hospitality operations teams regarding invoices, expenses and financial information. * Support the family office with ad hoc finance and bookkeeping requirements. Candidate Requirements * Strong bookkeeping experience, ideally within a multi-entity environment. * Previous payroll experience is essential. * Confident using Xero. * Experience with invoice processing, reconciliations and month-end reporting. * Comfortable preparing or assisting with monthly P&L information. * Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. * Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines. * Experience within hotels, hospitality, family offices or owner-managed businesses would be advantageous. * Comfortable working independently in a hands-on finance role. This is a part-time position working 2–3 days per week and would suit an experienced bookkeeper looking for a varied role within a privately owned hospitality group
