12-Month Fixed-Term Contract

Our client, a well-established manufacturing group based in Watford, is looking for a proactive Finance Assistant to join their finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Responsibilities:

  • Support the month-end process, including journals, accruals and prepayments
  • Assist with management accounts preparation and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data integrity
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting
  • Assist with accounts payable and receivable activities when required
  • Liaise with operational teams to resolve finance queries
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support to the wider finance team

Role Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Finance Assistant or Accounts role
  • Studying towards AAT, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent (desirable)
  • Strong Excel skills and good attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
