Job Description Title: Senior Financial Accountant Location: London, Liverpool Street (Hybrid working – 2/3 days WFH) Salary: £75,000 - £90,000 + discretionary bonus & comprehensive benefits package Our client is a multinational energy group operating across a complex international footprint. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join their London finance team. Reporting directly to the Head of Accounting, this role will play a key part in supporting financial reporting, analysis, and stakeholder reporting requirements across the business. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packs Perform detailed balance sheet and P&L analysis, investigating key variances and trends Review financial information prepared by external advisers and challenge outputs where appropriate Prepare reconciliations, reporting schedules, and financial commentary Liaise with external auditors and professional advisers throughout reporting cycles Partner with stakeholders across finance and the wider business to support decision-making ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualified accountant ~ Trained within a Big 4 or Top 10 accountancy practice with an external audit background ~Oil & Gas, Energy, Infrastructure, or Natural Resources sector experience would be advantageous ~ Strong financial reporting, analytical, and review skills ~ Experience preparing or reviewing management reporting and financial analysis ~ Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail ~
