Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join their London office, working with clients across a broad range of sectors including technology, media, retail, property, professional services, and manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a varied portfolio of audit clients, overseeing engagements from planning through to completion
- Lead and develop audit teams, providing coaching, mentorship, and technical support
- Build strong client relationships and act as a key point of contact throughout the audit process
- Review statutory accounts and audit files, ensuring compliance with UK GAAP and regulatory standards
- Work closely with Partners and senior stakeholders to deliver high-quality client service
- Identify opportunities to improve client processes and add commercial value
- Support business development initiatives and contribute to the continued growth of the firm
- Assist with budgeting, resource planning, and overall engagement management
Candidate Requirements
- ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
- Previous experience within a UK accountancy practice environment
- Strong audit experience managing a broad client portfolio
- Good knowledge of UK GAAP and audit compliance requirements
- Experience leading teams and managing client relationships effectively
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Commercially aware, proactive, and highly organised
