Our client is a multinational oil & gas group based in central London. They are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to join their friendly and collaborative finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong Accounts Payable professional looking to take ownership of the function, supervise day-to-day activities, and support the continued development of the wider finance team.
Responsibilities:
- Supervising the day-to-day Accounts Payable function and supporting the development of junior team members
- Taking full ownership of supplier accounts and ensuring accurate and timely processing
- Overseeing the setup of new vendors, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring appropriate controls are followed
- Reviewing and processing purchase invoices in line with internal controls and approval processes, ensuring accurate coding
- Managing staff expenses and company credit card reconciliations
- Overseeing weekly and monthly
