Role Overview: As our Legal Operations Manager, you will be the strategic engine behind our legal delivery. Your mission is to bridge the gap between legal expertise and business excellence, ensuring our lawyers have the optimal processes, data insights, and technology to provide world-class service. In 2026, this role is critical in steering our firm through AI-driven transformation and maintaining our competitive edge in the UK market.
Core Responsibilities:
- Financial Management Pricing: Lead the design and implementation of Alternative Fee Arrangements (AFAs). You will be responsible for monitoring "Work in Progress" (WIP) and "Lock-up," working directly with Partners to drive departmental profitability.
- LawTech AI Governance: Oversee the firm’s 2026 technology roadmap. You will evaluate, implement, and audit AI-enhanced tools (e.g., automated document review, generative AI assistants) ensuring they meet strict security and ethical standards.
- Process Engineering: Use Lean or Six Sigma methodologies to map and refine legal workflows. You will focus on high-impact areas such as automated client inception, AML/KYC compliance, and matter lifecycle management.
