Our client, a multinational infrastructure group with a strong global footprint, is seeking a commercially minded FP&A Analyst to join their finance team on a 6 to 12-month fixed-term contract. Based in London, this role offers excellent exposure to senior stakeholders and business-critical decision-making within a complex, international environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the preparation and analysis of budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans
- Deliver timely and accurate financial analysis on business performance, including variance analysis against budget and forecast
- Assist in the production of management reporting packs, providing clear and concise commentary for stakeholders
- Partner with operational and commercial teams to understand performance drivers and improve forecast accuracy
- Support month-end close processes, ensuring actuals are accurately reflected in reporting and forecasting models
- Build and maintain financial models to support planning, forecasting, and scenario analysis
- Assist with the ongoing improvement of FP&A processes, systems, and reporting
- Provide ad-hoc analysis and support to senior finance and management teams as required
Role Requirements
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
- Background in audit or financial reporting is advantageous
- Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting processes
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and explain financial data clearly
- Confident communicator with the ability to engage with stakeholders across the business
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working to tight deadlines
- Strong Excel skills; experience with large ERP systems is beneficial
