About Us

We are a family-run handblown glass gallery and gift shop in Hawkshead, showcasing glass art, local makers, and unique, thoughtfully chosen products.

The Role

We are looking for a friendly and reliable Part-Time Sales Assistant to join our team. This role involves working independently for much of the time, so confidence and initiative are important.

You will be responsible for:

  • Welcoming and assisting customers
  • Operating the till and handling payments
  • Maintaining beautiful, inviting displays
  • Restocking and keeping the shop organised
  • Supporting and promoting local artists and makers
  • Opening and closing the shop (full training provided)

Who We're Looking For

Due to limited public transport to Hawkshead, applicants will need to ensure they can reliably travel to and from the shop for their shifts.

Hours & Flexibility

3 set days per week (we can be flexible on days – so let us know if you have preferences). Additional hours may be available during busy periods or to cover holidays (offered on a voluntary basis).
