Handley James are working with one of our key clients who are a specialist manufacturer of defence and security products to source a Quality Engineer for their sites in Warrington. They are looking to recruit this individual to support the change management programme that is being driven through the site at this point in time. This role will report to the Operations Manager and will be responsible for improving and sustaining an approach to Quality that supports every function of the organisation. Your main responsibilities will include: Improve quality of products Implement and sustain quality improvement tools (8D, 5 Why…) across the business Root cause analysis and resolution Controlling internal and external company Quality activities Ensure control with the QMS is maintained Improvement of processes and systems Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a structure approach to quality is executed and sustained A Quality Engineer within a manufacturer, you will be engaging, passionate and able to influence. You will be proven in implementing or sustaining change, whilst being collaborative and working cross functionally with others to achieve a goal. There will be challenges along this continuous improvement journey, so it is vital that you are pragmatic and positive.
