Job Description
Handley James are proud to be partnering with a well-established, project led engineering manufacturer renowned for delivering high quality, bespoke solutions. With an excellent industry reputation and a commitment to engineering excellence. As a result of continued growth, they are now looking to appoint a Head of Engineering to further strengthen their engineering team.
As Head of Engineering, you will be the technical lead across a range of engineering projects, working cross functionally with design, production, and project teams. You will champion best practices, drive continuous improvement, and play a pivotal role in developing our engineering standards and capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage engineering activities across multiple projects
- Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes and practices
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to engineering team members
- Ensure the consistent delivery of high quality, fit for purpose products
- Work closely with internal teams to support business wide improvement initiatives
- Proactively identify and resolve engineering and design challenges
- Review and approve technical designs, specifications, and documentation
- Represent engineering in cross functional discussions and business strategy
Experienced within a project or engineering focused environment you will have gained exposure within power generation, capital equipment, construction engineering or similar industries. We are looking for a credible, proactive, and structured individual who is passionate about engineering excellence and innovation.
