We have been retained to engage an experienced, proactive and customer focused Technical Support Engineer.

Your main responsibilities will include
- Supporting the development, testing and continuous improvement of new and existing products.
- Contributing to research and development and new product development projects.
- Producing and maintaining engineering drawings, drawing packs and bills of materials.
- Working cross functionally with production, sales and other internal teams to ensure products are designed and manufactured effectively.
- Providing technical support to customers
- Working directly with customers to understand their needs and recommend solutions.
- Applying design for manufacture principles to optimise product quality, performance and manufacturability.
- Preparing technical information, reports and supporting documentation.
You will ideally hold a minimum of a HND in engineering or a related discipline, with previous experience in a product or manufacturing environment.
Experience in sheet metal fabrication, technical support, product development or Solid Edge would be advantageous, although technical aptitude, a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally important.
You will be a proactive, organised and personable, confident working with customers and colleagues at all levels.
