Handley James is partnering with a key client, a manufacturer of specialist products, to recruit an Operations Supervisor for their Warrington site. This appointment comes at a pivotal time for the business, as they continue to drive a range of improvement programmes across the site. They are seeking a forward-thinking Operations Supervisor who can play a key role in supporting these initiatives.
Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, the successful candidate will be responsible for strengthening and sustaining a structured approach to operational leadership, ensuring consistent performance and continuous improvement across production. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Leading production teams, managing the day-to-day activities and programme of work via team briefs and regular communication
- Promote and implement practical continuous improvement initiatives consistently across the team and processes
- Mentor and develop staff
- Implementing & Measuring KPI’s
- Ensure an exceptionally high level of customer care and quality assurance is promoted consistently throughout the production area
- Work closely with the production engineering team on implementing process improvements
- To monitor and drive Health & Safety within the working environment
