We have been retained by a key client of ours in the engineering sector to source and secure a Sales Manager to help to grow one of their manufacturing divisions. Our client operates as a subcontract manufacturer to the aerospace, automotive, Defence and industrial sectors. They are looking for a proactive and innovative hands-on Sales Manager to deliver on their strategy for growth. Reporting to the Group Business Development Director, you will be responsible for: * Developing new engineering accounts across their machining and fabrication division. * Identify opportunities for growth. * Mange the sales cycle from enquiry to completion. * Liaise with commercial, technical and project stakeholders. Experienced in technical solutions sales, you will have sold engineering, machining and/or fabricated parts into aerospace, automotive, rail or defence sectors, ideally. You will be experienced in project-based sales cycles from concept to completion. Ideally you will have an engineering qualification or will have been a sales engineer in the past or currently. You will be proactive and hungry but will also be realistic with customers and able to manage expectations. This is a fantastic opportunity with a growing SME manufacturer and will offer a salary of between £50,000 and £70,000 plus package
