We have been retained by one of our key clients to recruit a Head of Operations who will bring about significant change in their organisation. Our client is a well-established and reputable SME manufacturer who is now looking for an experienced Operations professional to support their future growth. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to progress and develop their career further within a well-established organisation that is expanding and investing in growth and its staff.
Role Responsibilities
- To establish, implement and sustain best practice across the operation.
- Driving and improving operational performance to meet strategic goals.
- Implementing and sustaining lean process improvements at a practical and strategic level.
- Providing overall leadership across Production and Planning.
- Establishing, monitoring, and improving core KPIs.
- Improving the overall efficiencies of the business, with a focus on OTIF.
- Developing and mentoring core team members.
- Ensuring that employees are engaged and motivated.
Currently an operations or manufacturing leader within a quality driven manufacturer, you will be experienced in improving an organisation but in a measured and consistent way. Ideally, you will have gained experience within an engineering focussed business. You will be proven in improving OTIF and will have achieved this through employee engagement and development. You will be lean focussed and will be able to explain and implement lean at a practical level. You will be open, honest and transparent in terms of your core behaviours and will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
