The Care Assistant will be responsible for supporting individuals with their personal care needs, assisting with daily activities, and ensuring their overall well‑being. Tasks include providing specialist care for individuals with specific needs, such as dementia, while fostering an empathetic and respectful approach. The role also involves maintaining daily care records, effective communication with clients and their families, and following infection control and health guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Manual Handling and knowledge of caregiving practices
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills and effective Communication abilities
  • Knowledge and experience in Dementia Care
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to caregiving
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team and adapt to individual care plans
  • Availability for flexible working hours and a valid driver's license (preferred)
  • Completion of relevant care training or certifications is an advantage
  • MUST DRIVE AND HAVE OWN CAR
