Experienced TV/Film Synopsis Writer needed to join Creative Writing Strategy Team for a Global Film/TV Streaming Platform. You will summarise films and tv with concise, creative, and engaging synopses. You will need to have sufficient synopsis experience in the Entertainment sector and be able to showcase this. You will be fully proficient in English as well as ideally Swedish, Danish or Norwegian as you will also be covering Nordic content. This is an awesome opportunity for an experienced entertainment copy writer. The role can be fully remote and will pay around Β£50 per hour DOE. Duration expected- 6 months.
Key tasks will involve:
-Creative synopsis writing for key film and tv titles across UK and US films
-Work across Nordic and other European content
-You might typically work on one or several synopses per week- from popular action movies to low budget indie films
-Work closely with the team to ensure the copy meets the needs of the writing brief
Essential requirements:
-You need to be an expert on media and entertainment in the UK and US market
– Writing and editing world-class creative content in other European Languages and English. Ideally Swedish, Danish or Norweigen as this role will also work across Nordic content
– Mastery of AP style and attention to detail
– Full native proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
