Financial Controller - Music

Job Title: Financial Controller

An exciting and innovative Music/Tech business is seeking a Financial Controller on a temp-perm basis.

The Financial Controller will take ownership of accounting operations and group consolidation across numerous legal entities in Europe, the UK, and the USA, each using different local accounting systems. You will be responsible for delivering accurate, timely financial reports, including the P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements used in board and bank reporting.

The successful candidate will handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and consolidation processes, along with complex areas such as deferred revenue, payment success, intercompany transactions, royalties, acquisitions, loans, and goodwill adjustments. You will help ensure financial hygiene and compliance across the group and support cost control and transparency initiatives.

Requirements:

1. 7-10+ years of experience in accounting roles, including multi-entity consolidation and month-end ownership.
2. Strong working knowledge of IFRS and/or relevant local GAAPs.
3. Comfortable navigating multiple systems, currencies, and country-specific processes.
