Finance Music Business Manager – Music & Entertainment

Rapidly expanding accounting practice with a specialisation in Music and Entertainment are looking for Accounts Manager with a background working with music and entertainment accounts.

The role will include start to end accounts work on a portfolio of music clients whilst managing the client relationship. The Accounts Manager will need to be a point of knowledge for the team and will take an active role in the overall development and progression of your team.

Duties:

  • Work directly with high profile artists through a team of supervisors, seniors and trainees
  • Manage confidential client relationships
  • Be the first point of contact for clients
  • Work closely alongside the Partner in the Music and Entertainment department
  • Take an active role in the overall development and progression of your team, yourself and the business

Skills & Experience:

  • ACCA or ACA qualified (or equivalent) or qualified by experience
  • Experienced working with artists, management companies, agents and promoters
  • Experienced in working with royalty audits, touring accounts, foreign tax schemes, cash flow and income streams
  • Able to communicate clearly with commercial skills, building a premium client management service
  • Able to prioritise tasks with resources in mind
  • Able to demonstrate high levels of discretion and confidentiality
  • Able to support a team by applying strong interpersonal skills and intuition
