Position: We have an exciting opportunity for a Stairlift Surveyor to join our Local Authority team covering the M4 corridor (West London as far out as North Somerset). This is with specific local authorities in these areas, so not every area in-between, but you'll need to be comfortable driving good distances each day. The purpose of the role is to maintain and grow sales through existing local authority contracts and to develop additional business with new partners. You will support in the Local Authority sector by providing a supportive, consultative and proactive service to our Local Authority partners. You'll get an extensive induction period to bring you up to speed on products and how we work, so you don't need to have worked in the mobility or lift sector before.
Key responsibilities:
- Undertake technical surveys and sales quotations within end users’ premises.
- Deliver a high standard of data collection, communication and accuracy when surveying and measuring locations and end users for lift equipment.
- Understand end user needs and provide best recommendation (based on Occupational Therapist guidance where appropriate).
- Maintain an up-to-date technical knowledge base of the products we provide to end users, as well as available configurations that provide solutions to a variety of end user needs.
