About the role: As an eCommerce BDM, you are enthusiastic about maximising our diverse range of eCommerce products. From prospecting, closing opportunities, overseeing and guiding rapid on‑boarding of merchants, eCommerce payment products and integrations, through to maximising the benefits of our products and services for merchants and Handepay. Responsibilities:
- Hunting for new business: proactively prospecting through self‑sourced and company‑provided prospects, opening doors to new clients.
- Tailoring solutions: engaging in face‑to‑face and virtual consultations to fully understand eCommerce needs and offer tailored payment solutions.
- Building customer and partner relationships that lead to referrals.
- Closing deals: presenting, negotiating, and sealing the deal with new customers to drive revenue growth.
About you: You’re a great fit if you have:
- Experience in eCommerce solution selling (fintech, payment solutions or SaaS).
- Knowledge of payment gateways, checkouts, web development, integrations, the eCommerce competitor landscape and other eCommerce components – advantageous.
- Results‑driven, focused on achieving and exceeding performance metrics.
- Proven track record of success in sales.
- Strong relationship‑building and negotiation skills.
- Resilience and a positive outlook in overcoming objections.
- Excellent presentation skills – both verbal and written.
- A passion for working digitally – comfortable with Facebook, LinkedIn, prospecting platforms, and email outreach.
- Sell consultatively – ask questions, listen, and solve problems.
- A full UK driving licence is required with no more than 9 points.
