Intern – UK Technology – Strategy and Transformation

Main Responsibilities

• We are looking for an intern to join us this summer, working in our UK Technology – Strategy and Transformation.
• During your internship you will be working in a team of IT change professionals, accountable for delivering a large portfolio of IT projects that are modernising the bank’s technology landscape.
• In this role you will be supporting day‑to‑day delivery of IT projects, including project tracking and reporting, financial management, audit and communications.
• You will work closely with Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Portfolio Transformation Managers, as well as wider project stakeholders, gaining both a broad and deep insight into how IT projects are delivered within a financial services organisation.

Our Summer Internship Programme runs from 29th June to the 4th September. We are looking for individuals to commit to the full ten‑week duration of our internship programme.

As an intern you’ll follow a structured programme:

• Real insight into our culture and organisation.
• Opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills within Banking.
• Understanding the core principles of our business, before taking on your own responsibilities that will see you gain hands‑on experience and develop skills for the future in a friendly and supportive environment.
• You will be assigned a buddy and have regular check‑in with your line manager.
• During the programme you will also work with other interns on a business project, giving you the opportunity to further develop your teamwork, creative thinking and presentation skills.
• By the end of the placement you will have delivered work and projects that add value to the Bank, developed your skills and have the potential to continue your career with us.
