The Agile Manager will drive the implementation, adoption, and continuous improvement of iterative ways of working across the bank. They will be responsible for designing and implementing improvements to our governance and controls process, to enable teams to increase the pace of change, and deliver value more efficiently, whilst balancing this against Handelsbanken’s robust controls environment.
The Agile Manager will coach and mentor stakeholders across the bank. They take on the line management responsibilities for the Scrum Masters, building team cohesion, and supporting Scrum Masters with stretching growth objectives and opportunities.
Main Responsibilities
- Design, implement and continuously improve IT change processes for Agile delivery governance and controls, ensuring that these are fully understood, communicated, and embedded by the delivery teams.
- Work with the IT Change Governance team to ensure IT change processes for iterative development is documented in key governance frameworks, instructions, and artefacts.
- Define and implement the vision, strategy and roadmap for Agile adoption.
- Design and deliver training programs and workshops to build Agile capabilities across teams.
- Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Agile teams.
- Facilitate the implementation of Agile tools and processes, ensuring alignment with the bank’s strategy.
- Champion the Agile transformation within the bank, advocating for the cultural and behavioral changes needed for success.
- Provide effective leadership and line management to the Scrum Master team.
- Manage the recruitment, performance, and development of the team.
- Actively promote and ensure adherence to the Bank's Risk Management framework (including sub-frameworks) and relevant risk and compliance policies and procedures, ensuring timely and appropriate escalation of concerns to relevant senior stakeholders.
