We are currently recruiting for a Casual Housekeeping Assistant at Buxted Park Hotel, part of Hand Picked Hotels. This role will involve working a variety of shifts including weekends as required. Set in the heart of 312 lush acres, Buxted Park is a glorious country hotel in Uckfield where Georgian styling meets modern comfort. The Grade II listed Palladian mansion, set in the finest parkland, makes Buxted Park Hotel in East Sussex one of the region’s most renowned rural wedding venues, whilst the award-winning 2 AA Rosette restaurant in Uckfield boasts an exquisite menu.
About the Role
The role of a Housekeeping Assistant will be responsible for ensuring our guest bedrooms are clean and maintained to a very high standard creating a magical first impression. You will play a key role in creating a home from home experience making sure each room is replenished with a fresh supply of towels and toiletries. Attention to detail is key – you will have an eye for perfection in making sure the public areas as well as the rooms are immaculate. This will involve setting up the tea, coffee and biscuit station in the rooms and delivering personalised amenities.
About you
To be considered for the role, you will have some housekeeping or cleaning experience and feel comfortable working both alone and as part of a team in a fast-paced, busy environment. You’ll take pride in delivering consistently high standards. You’ll have a friendly, welcoming and helpful manner as our teams work together to ensure our guests are happy. You will be enthusiastic and willing to take on new responsibilities. Adopt a flexible approach to assist in different areas of the hotel as business and guest needs dictate.

Company Benefits
A competitive salary package of £13.00 per hour, plus a share of service charge. The hours will vary and may include the following 10.00-16.00 or 10.30-19.00, including weekends.
