We are currently recruiting for a Head of Spa to oversee the spa and wellness operations within the hotels located on the mainland. The role will require extensive travel to the hotels on the mainland. This is a new role created as part of the ongoing transformation of Hand Picked Hotels and the elevation of our spa and wellness offering.
About the Role Responsibilities
- The Head of Spa will oversee all aspects of spa operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional services and experiences to guests.
- As a leader within the Hand Picked management team, it is essential to demonstrate a detailed knowledge and understanding of our company Brand Values and display them at all times.
- Support the spa leadership team in maintaining high standards of customer service, and drive revenue growth through effective marketing and business development strategies.
- Build strong business relationships with the Hotel General Managers and Spa and Health Club managers across our luxury and events division, across the UK.
- Collaborate with the spa leadership and team management, ensuring an outstanding guest experience is delivered, creating magical and memorable experiences for our guests.
- Engage in marketing and business development for the spa, including diary management and ensuring the business levels are appropriately yielded.
- Ensure best-practice sharing with local hotel teams to maximise revenues in all areas of the spa.
Qualifications
- Current 5-star spa management experience at Spa Director or Senior Spa Management within a large-scale spa operation in a luxury hotel or spa environment, ideally within the UK.
- Demonstrable excellent leadership, communication, business acumen and spa knowledge within a hotel spa environment.
- Previous experience developing and uplifting standards within a luxury spa operation whilst consistently exceeding guest expectations.
- Ability to create a robust sales and marketing plan to increase revenue streams across the spa operations.
- Hold a Level 4 in beauty therapy.
- Knowledge of how to analyse market trends, competitor activities, and guest feedback to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
- Role model to all colleagues, displaying our Brand Values in professional conduct.
- Must have access to their own transport and be able to drive.
