We are currently recruiting for a Sales Manager to be based at Rookery Hall Hotel & Spa, part of Hand Picked Hotels. This is a new role and will be based on property driving corporate business to the hotel. Rookery Hall Hotel & Spa is located in Nantwich; the hotel is one of the most renowned country house hotels in Cheshire, expertly blending old-world charm with modern amenities. This stunning award-winning property is proud to boast 4 AA Red Star status and a 3 AA Rosette Restaurant and has won local accolades for its service and standards.
About the role
The role of Sales Manager will involve proactively driving sales activities to the hotel across all sectors including hotel events, private dining, leisure experiences, corporate and conference from a local perspective. Work with local destination houses and partners from a B2B and B2C perspective. Support the development, execution, and maintenance of the hotel and Hand Picked Hotels sales and marketing plan. Responsible for pro-actively managing social media on property, looking at ways to engage with the local community, raise awareness and engagement. Be a confident and effective networker who can build effective relationships externally and internally. Making clear, confident decisions will be second nature to you, consulting with others where needed ensuring you all reach the same goals. Most of all we will want you to be inspired, have fun and enjoy being part of our Hand Picked Team. Working in collaboration with the Director of Sales to ensure delivery of the sales targets and objectives.
About you
To be considered for this role you will have current proactive sales experience within a 4/5-star luxury hotel or similar environment. It is essential you are driven, can act on your own initiative where appropriate and enjoy working within a proactive sales role with set targets and objectives. Can demonstrate a methodical approach and are highly organised and have a systematic approach to your work. You will have excellent communication, presentation skills and attention to detail. Most of all, you will have a professional, organised and friendly approach and be able to anticipate our guests' needs and create memories. It is essential you have your own transport and can travel as required.
