We are seeking a capable and experienced Website Content Manager to oversee the launch and ongoing content operations of a high-traffic hospitality website. This role will be responsible for maintaining the integrity, accuracy and optimisation of all content, ensuring it performs to standard and aligns with broader digital objectives.

While the role's core function is content management, the ideal candidate will bring a wider understanding of how websites function beyond the page. This includes site architecture, performance optimisation, and the operational context in which digital content sits. Reporting directly to the Head of Digital and supported by a content operations contractor during the transition, this role will serve as the key liaison between internal teams and external partners, ensuring content cohesion, platform consistency and strategic alignment.

We are looking for someone with experience in managing content across large-scale websites (more than 1,000 pages), ideally in the hospitality, travel or consumer services sectors.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders within structured project frameworks; confident using performance data to inform improvements.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Umbraco CMS in a professional environment.
  • Solid understanding of content governance, user experience, accessibility standards and on-page SEO best practice.
  • Familiarity with analytics and behaviour tracking tools such as GA4, Hotjar or Microsoft Clarity, and an ability to draw actionable insights.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and a calm, solutions-focused approach to problem solving.
