We are currently seeking an active and enthusiastic Seasonal Food & Beverage Manager at Braye Beach Hotel, part of Hand Picked Hotels. This role comes with low cost on site accommodation. Due to this being a seasonal role you must be available to start in May 2026 through to October 2026 and hold Right to Work Status for the UK.

Tucked away on the edge of Alderney’s pristine white sands, with the turquoise waters of Braye Bay just steps away, Braye Beach Hotel isn’t just a stunning escape for guests - it’s an inspiring place to build your career in luxury hospitality.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire Food & Beverage operation including the Restaurant & Conference & Banqueting departments, ensuring high standards of service are consistently delivered.
  • Manage, support and guide our vibrant and diverse team to create magical memories for all of our guests.
  • Be the ultimate hospitality professional able to make each guest feel special and motivate team members to do the same.
  • Have outstanding knowledge of food and drink to inspire the team and enjoy sharing your knowledge through regular training and development.
  • Make clear, confident decisions, consulting with others where needed to reach common goals.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of business financials including labour costs, forecasting and budgets.
  • Exhibit incredible organisational skills and attention to detail, along with stamina and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Qualifications:

  • Previous Food & Beverage management or Restaurant management experience within a 4 or 5 star country house or boutique hotel.
  • Knowledge of bar operations and the ability to train and develop a team.
  • Experience in effectively managing events and weddings would be advantageous.
  • This is a hands-on role requiring an operator who thrives on spending time with guests and leading from the front.
  • Excellent knowledge of wine and confidence to offer wine pairings.
  • Proven experience of managing, coaching and developing teams, with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Excellent at building rapport with colleagues and guests.
  • Professional, organised and friendly approach, able to anticipate guests' needs and create memories.

  • Full-Time role working 5 days out of 7 including weekends on a rota basis, 40 hours per week, which may vary depending on business needs.
