We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Night Manager at Woodlands Park Hotel, part of Hand Picked Hotels.

What will the role involve?

As Night Manager, you will be at the heart of our overnight operation, leading and inspiring the Night Reception Team to deliver exceptional guest experiences from dusk until dawn.

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of the hotel throughout the night, motivating your team to achieve departmental goals, drive continuous improvement, and maintain the highest standards of service.

With a strong focus on safety, security, and operational excellence, you will create a welcoming and secure environment for both guests and colleagues while confidently managing day-to-day decision-making.

This varied and hands‑on role also requires a commercial mindset, with responsibility for areas such as labour management, forecasting, and budgets.

From supporting bar service and room service deliveries to conference room setup and team development, no two nights are the same.

Above all, we’re looking for someone who leads with enthusiasm, enjoys building positive relationships, and is excited to be part of our passionate and dedicated team.

This is a full‑time role working 5 days out of 7 including weekends on a rota basis, 40 hours per week, which may vary depending on business.

Flexible working hours can be accommodated where possible.

  • You will have passion and pride in delivering exceptional, high‑quality, personalised service to ensure our guests experiences are memorable.
  • Previous experience working at Management or Supervisory level within a Hotel Nights team is a requirement for this role. Ideally with an 4/5-star luxury hotel.
  • Having a good working knowledge of Opera is desirable but not essential, you will be confident in using property management systems and night audit process.
  • Proven experience of managing, coaching and developing teams, and you will enjoy motivating others to be their best, achieve their goals and full potential.
  • Being driven to deliver outstanding and memorable customer service, ensuring our guests feel safe, and at home will be your passion and motivation.

You will be excellent at building a rapport with colleagues and guests.

  • Most of all, you will have a professional, organised and friendly approach and be able to anticipate our guests needs and create memories.
