We are currently recruiting for a Casual Kitchen Porter at Norton House Hotel & Spa, part of Hand Picked Hotels. This prestigious Georgian country house leaves an indelible first impression. Like fine malt whisky, it has improved with age. Now a mecca for stylish dining, 21st-century comforts and cutting-edge technology blend with historic features to create a sense of the old and new working in unison. This 1840 country house hotel is an idyllic Scottish wedding venue and one of the best meeting venues in Edinburgh, thanks to its location, just 5 minutes from Edinburgh Airport and 20 minutes from the city centre.
About the Role
The person we are looking for will enjoy maintaining a clean working environment, being active and working with the Chefs to complete daily and weekly tasks. You’ll enjoy working as part of a team and always be looking for ways to help the smooth-running of the kitchen. You may even be considering a career as a Chef in the future and if you do, we will help you to reach your goal. No experience is necessary although it would of course be welcomed, but a positive attitude and good work ethic is most important.
