At Hand on Heart, we make Memorial Jewellery - pieces that hold cremation ashes, fingerprints, and handwriting, created for people at some of the most significant moments of their lives. Our work is meaningful, and the quality we hold ourselves to is high.

We’re looking for someone who learns quickly, stays organised across multiple tasks, and takes genuine pride in doing things properly. You’ll be operating engraving machinery, making and finishing jewellery to exact specifications, managing orders through our digital workflow, collaborating with different areas of the business to resolve issues, and overseeing the dispatch process from packing through to shipment.

Whilst an interest in jewellery or creative work is welcome, this role is best suited to someone methodical who enjoys accuracy, consistency, and working to a high standard. It’s a varied role, and you'll need to be comfortable moving between hands‑on production tasks and detailed screen‑based work throughout the day. Every order has a customer waiting, so pace and accuracy matter in equal measure - you'll be working to clear timescales at all times.

No jewellery experience is needed - we'll train you on everything product‑related. In a small, close‑knit business like ours, you’ll gain experience across multiple areas of the company rather than being limited to one role or department. This role is a great fit whether you're just starting out in your career or looking to make a change into something more varied and rewarding.

What we're looking for is someone sharp, adaptable, and genuinely at home with technology. If learning new software, operating specialist equipment, and owning a process from start to finish sounds like your kind of day, we'd love to hear from you.

What we offer:

  • £12.71 per hour starting salary
  • 6 weeks paid holiday, rising to 7 weeks after 24 months
  • Free on‑site parking
  • A small, close‑knit team that celebrates together
