The role involves supporting our London office, working alongside the Office Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and customer experience. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our office remains a welcoming and efficient environment for both team members and visitors, partnering with and supporting all our internal teams and stakeholders at Hanbury.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to get into an office environment (or already experienced in a similar operational role), who is a great communicator and likes to build relationships. This role will be extremely busy with no two days the same. You will work closely with the wider team and have a proactive attitude. For this role, you will be expected to be in the office 5 days a week.

Responsibilities will include the following:

  • Meeting and greeting visitors
  • Answering phone calls
  • Booking meeting rooms and setting them up for visitors
  • Organising and dealing with all postal and courier duties
  • Organising catering and liaising with relevant suppliers
  • Ensuring the office and kitchen area are kept fully stocked with key supplies
  • Helping to manage IT related queries
  • Managing and inventory tracking of company stationary and merch
  • Assisting in onboarding and offboarding duties
  • Team calendar and client scheduling assistance
  • Triage of the company information mailbox
  • Logging and managing guest experience bookings for the upcoming week
  • Updating and maintaining spreadsheets relating to different aspects of office management
  • Helping the Operations Team with any ad hoc tasks, such as sourcing new suppliers or obtaining quotes
