We are looking to bring on board an Associate Director with expertise in technology policy and regulation to lead client accounts and contribute to the growth of our business. This role will be pivotal in delivering strategic advice and operational support to clients across multiple sectors, especially in the rapidly evolving fields of online safety, AI adoption and regulation, and digital infrastructure. You will be a key member of a team that provides cutting‑edge regulatory and political analysis and engagement advice to some of the most exciting global companies.

Qualifications

  • Shrewd understanding of the UK political and regulatory landscape and experience in tech policy and regulatory fields such as online safety, AI adoption, regulation, and digital infrastructure.
  • At least 4–6 years of professional experience working in government, politics, a regulator, consultancy, think tank, industry body or in‑house public affairs roles.
  • Dedicated to producing high‑quality work and going the extra mile in fast‑paced environments.
  • Collaborative leadership style with a commitment to mentoring and developing talent within the organization.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to encourage respectful debate and an appetite for taking risks.
  • Proven track record of managing projects and leading project teams in fast‑paced, delivery‑focused environments.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to provide clear, concise advice to senior stakeholders in both written and verbal formats.
  • Desire to be part of a dynamic team and drive a positive working environment.
  • Enjoys working with people from diverse backgrounds and perspectives.

Responsibilities

  • Client Management: Manage overall client relationships on a portfolio of accounts, demonstrating strong lateral thinking and problem‑resolution skills. Provide strategic regulatory and political analysis, engagement advice, and manage the delivery of daily products and services to clients. Consistently focus on adding value and recognising opportunities to extend relationships.
  • Business Development: Play a significant role in business development, including leading the creation of well‑structured and creative new business proposals. Active in cross‑sell and upsell to existing clients and driving new commercial opportunities. Strong presentation skills and influencing abilities. Build and nurture a professional network of potential new business partners.
