An exciting opportunity to join an established European CPA firm in Birmingham! My client is looking for an experienced Tax Manager or Senior Manager, ideally someone with a strong background in Corporate taxation. The team sees a wide variety of technical issues and industries including manufacturing and distribution to name a couple.
Ideally, you'll have exposure to SMEs (both on the larger and smaller scale) as this is the bulk of their client base. Something interesting to note about this position is that even with the domestic tax work everything has an international flavour to it. The clients are predominantly European HQ'd businesses with US subsidiaries and you would be responsible for an array of tax compliance and advisory topics.
The team in place consists of individuals from the Big 4, Top 10 and other large CPA firms both in the US but also internationally. Another unique point, the CPA industry is highly competitive and often climbing the ladder is detrimental to some colleagues. That's not the case here; this CPA firm promotes collaboration instead of competition.
Some further requirements for the role include CPA required as well as a reasonable distance to Birmingham to work in a hybrid setup. Compensation ranges circa $130k - $180k + comprehensive benefits. For more information please apply today.
