I'm delighted to be partnering with a fast-growing specialist advisory firm to recruit a Director of Financial Modelling & Transaction Support.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Transaction Services, FDD or Corporate Restructuring professional looking to move into a broader, more technically focused leadership role.

The firm supports clients through Accelerated M&A, Special Situations and Corporate Turnaround engagements, delivering critical financial modelling and transaction support where speed, accuracy and commercial judgement are essential.

The Opportunity

This isn't a traditional Transaction Services role.

You'll lead the delivery of complex client engagements, managing a talented team of financial analysts while taking technical ownership of sophisticated financial models.

You'll remain hands-on when required: reviewing, stress-testing, auditing and occasionally building integrated three-statement financial models from first principles.

Alongside the technical work, you'll become the senior point of contact for clients, lenders and investors, helping defend assumptions, explain outputs and guide decision-making during live transactions.

  • What You'll Be Doing
  • Leading the delivery of complex financial modelling engagements
  • Taking ultimate responsibility for the quality and integrity of client models
  • Reviewing, auditing and, where required, building sophisticated three-statement financial models
  • Leading and developing a high-performing analytical team
  • Working directly with clients, lenders and investors throughout live transactions
  • Supporting businesses through accelerated M&A processes, restructurings and special situations
  • Helping shape the future growth of an ambitious specialist advisory firm

What We're Looking For

You'll probably have

  • A Big 4 or leading advisory background within Transaction Services or Corporate Restructuring
  • ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification
  • Advanced financial modelling capability and the confidence to work from first principles
  • Experience operating in fast-paced, deal-driven environments
  • Excellent client management and communication skills
  • A collaborative, commercially minded approach with a genuine passion for technical excellence

Why This Role?

  • Fully remote working anywhere in the UK
  • High-profile, technically challenging deal work
  • A lean, high-calibre team with genuine autonomy
  • Merit-based progression with a clear route towards equity and partnership
  • No unnecessary corporate bureaucracy - just talented people doing interesting work

If you're looking for a role that combines technical modelling, transaction support, client leadership and the opportunity to help build a growing business, I'd love to speak with you.
