We've partnered exclusively with a highly regarded independent accountancy practice in Central London on a Tax Manager appointment. They need an experienced Tax Manager who can step in as the firm’s trusted tax authority.
This is a strategic seat. It is a hands on, client-facing role built around ownership. You will handle a varied portfolio of owner-managed businesses and private clients where the questions change daily, and you move comfortably between different tax situations.

What this role involves
- Acting as the primary tax contact for owner-managed businesses and private clients
- Delivering a mix of compliance, planning and advisory work
- Operating with a high degree of independence while working closely with the Partners, who are approachable, commercially minded and invested in the development of their team.
- Building long term client relationships
- Broadening your existing experience and gaining further exposure across different areas of tax
- Review work, share knowledge and support the development of more junior members of the team

About You
- Qualified CTA or ATT is useful, but not essential
- Substantial, well rounded UK tax experience across both personal and corporate tax, gained within professional practice
- Strong client-facing ability and the judgement to work independently
- Experience managing a varied portfolio of clients
- Ability to interpret and apply UK tax legislation to practical client situations
- An appetite for variety and a track record of strong client service
