We are exclusively recruiting a Senior Internal Auditor & Controls (SOX) Specialist for our client, a large commercial (non-financial services) business, due to an internal promotion.

This is a high-profile position, representing the Head Office and its values and vision as a Group.

As the sole representative for audit, in a team focussed on governance including risk, controls, the role will report directly to the Global Head of Internal Audit & Risk and is seen as a high-profile position, with significant importance.

You will be based (3x per week) in the Group head office in London, UK, and cover the various operations in which the Group operates.

Travel will be very limited, mostly around other locations in the UK (less than 20% of the time).

We would however encourage you to go to the office and core operations as much as possible to build your personal brand and reputation across the business, which will be helpful as we are recruiting a 'leader of the future', so your network will be vital for your development.

This team provides assurance across the business - to Finance, HR, IT and Operations - and you will be expected to use your skills in many diverse areas.

The company's audit & risk team is very seen as a corporate advisory team; project leaders, taking on a wide range of topics in many areas of the business.

For this reason, it is important to have a track record of delivering results as well as excellent communication and influencing skills and above all, the determination to really make a difference.

This would be an ideal role for a Top 10/Big 4 trained, ideally newly qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA, CIMA, CIA, etc.), or equivalent (c. 3-6 years' exp) looking for their first or second move in industry.

Controls (inc.

SOX) experience is an advantage, but not mandatory.

Fluency in English is essential, as the right to work without sponsorship in the UK.
