We are exclusively recruiting a Group Internal Auditor / Senior Internal Auditor for our client, a commercial business, due to significant growth of the business and therefore an increased need for good governance and controls. This is a brand new position, representing the Head Office and its values and vision as a Group.
Working with the Head of Audit, and reporting to the Internal Audit Manager, as part of a team focused on governance including risk and controls, this role is seen as a high-profile position, with significant importance. You will be based in the Group head office in London, UK, (3-4 days a week, with very flexible hours/working arrangements) and cover the various operations, offices, and markets in which the Group operates.
As with most tech companies, due to the industry, this role will include very low travel (less than 5% of the time). We would however encourage you to go to the office and core operations to build your personal brand and reputation across the business, which will be helpful as we are recruiting a ‘leader of the future’, so your network will be vital for your development.
This team provides assurance across the global business – to Finance, HR, IT and Operations - and you will be expected to use your skills in many diverse areas. The company’s audit & risk team is seen as a corporate advisory team; project leaders, taking on a wide range of topics in many areas of the business.
For this reason, it is important to have a track record of delivering results as well as excellent communication and influencing skills and above all, the determination to really make a difference. This would be an ideal role for a Top 10/Big 4 trained, ideally part-qualified, newly qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA, CIMA, CIA, etc.), equivalent, and/or a good step for someone looking for their first or second move in industry. Fluency in English is essential, and this client will not sponsor visas.
