Job Overview
We are exclusively recruiting a Group Internal Auditor for our client, a FTSE 100 commercial (non-FS) business based in London, UK.
This is a high‑profile position, representing the Group Head Office and its values in their "European region".
As one of the audit representatives for the region of the company, the role will report directly to the Global Head of Internal Audit in the UK.
It is expected that after two years the successful person would likely secure a role in Finance or Operations (internationally, with visa sponsorship provided if desired) within the Group once you have learned about the business from your time in Internal Audit.
You will be based in London, UK (c. 3 days a week) and cover markets across Europe.
The role will require international travel circa 30% of the time in this truly international role, as you will work with a growing and developing audit team in the Americas and Asia and we are looking for leaders of tomorrow.
This team provides assurance across the global business – to Finance, HR, IT and Operations – and you will be expected to prove your skills in many diverse areas.
All of the company's auditors are very much project leaders, taking on a wide range of topics in many areas of the business.
For this reason, it is important to have a track record of delivering results as well as excellent communication and influencing skills and, above all, the determination to really make a difference.
This would be an ideal role for a Top 10/Big 4 trained, part‑qualified / newly qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CA, etc.) looking for their first or second move in industry.
Fluency in English is essential, and fluency in other European languages such as French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, etc. would be an advantage, as would some SOX experience too.
Mostly though, we are hiring on potential, so our client has flexibility on background.
