HANABI CLUB is a lifestyle brand for readers, writers and literature lovers. We run an online book club, create bookish clothing, interview authors, and produce street interview content around books, reading, creativity and culture.
We’re looking for a confident, curious and personable Street Interviewer / Content Creator to help us film short‑form street interviews in Central London. This is a contractor role, paid at UK minimum wage, for up to 8 hours per week.
You’ll be working alongside our cameraperson to film interviews with people on the street, asking questions about books, reading habits, favourite novels, unpopular opinions, creative life, and culture more broadly.
The role will involve:
- Approaching people in public and making them feel comfortable on camera
- Bringing good energy and personality to the interviews
- Helping shape interview ideas and formats
- Editing short‑form clips for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts
- Working with the HANABI CLUB team to develop recurring content formats
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Confident speaking to strangers
- Comfortable being on camera
- Strong interest in books & literature
- Based in London
- Able to edit short‑form social media videos using CapCut and other tools
- Naturally curious and good at keeping conversations flowing
