Sushi Gourmet is recruiting a Full-Time Chef Manager (£13/hour) to join our team at Sainsbury's kiosk in Letchworth SG6 2HX.
We are looking for:
- Enthusiastic, energetic individuals with the ability to demonstrate initiative
- Flexible with a 'can-do' attitude
- Always happy to help customers with a smile
- Able to work as part of a team or independently while maintaining high standards
- Excited to produce high-quality, sustainable food products
And have:
- Experience in leading people, building confidence and capability in your team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while leading by example
- Pride in your work, with a continuous improvement mindset
- Good understanding of Food Safety & Health and Safety regulations, brand standards, and company policies
- Reliable transportation for early morning shifts
And are able to:
- Be accountable for the Kiosk and team, maintaining audit standards and compliance
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness and food safety on site
- Be highly organized with a focus on forward planning
- Prepare fresh ingredients by hand, including meat and raw fish products
- Accurately label products ensuring legal compliance around food safety and allergens
- Be a skilled multitasker
- Be an early riser, as shifts can start at 6am
- Learn new skills or improve existing ones
