Sushi Gourmet are recruiting a Full Time Mobile Sushi Chef Manager to come and support our teams in Sainsbury’s kiosks in:

  • Moortown, 9-11, Moortown Allerton Centre, Leeds LS17 5NY
  • Shorehead, Southgate, Huddersfield HD1 6QR
  • Tritton Road, Lincoln, LN6 7QN
  • Wetherby Road, Harrogate, HG2 8QZ
  • Monks Cross, Jockey Lane, Huntington, York, YO32 9LG
  • M&S, Martello Way, Unit A Vangarde Retail Park, Phoenix Lane, York YO32 9AE

This role requires your own vehicle and mileage will be paid.

Job Description

If you are:

  • A good understanding of Food Safety & Health and Safety regulations, ability to follow brand standards and comply with company policies
  • Reliable transportation for your commute to work early in the morning

And are able to:

  • Prepare fresh ingredients by hand, including meat and raw fish products each shift
  • Accurately labelling products ensuring lawful compliance around food safety and allergen compliance each shift
  • Be a skilled multitasker in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to clean the workspace and storerooms as required
  • Be organised maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and safe environment for our customers, our clients and ourselves
  • An early riser as shifts can start at 6am some days
  • Learn new skills or improve skills already mastered

Qualifications

Paying up to £12.96 to £13 per hour, depending on experience

  • Be accountable for the Kiosk and the team, maintaining audit standards for food and health & safety compliance while meeting EHO expectations
  • Ensuring the team maintains a high standard of cleanliness and food safety on site to maintain a safe environment for our customers, our clients and ourselves
  • Highly organised, with a focus on forward planning
  • Prepare fresh ingredients by hand, including meat and raw fish products each shift
