Hana Group are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and talented Area Manager to join our award-winning team in Basingstoke to provide key guidance and training to our kiosk teams. We now have 222 kiosks in the UK and Ireland with more to come.
The Role: As an Area Manager working for Hana Group, you will have the opportunity to use your logical, strategic, people and management skills to drive the sales, performance and standards for your kiosks. You will be responsible for 8-12 kiosks across an assigned geographical area (Hampshire and surrounding area) and provide leadership and coaching to support your team to achieve overall performance across various KPIs. Your working week will consist of various business activities as well as visits to your kiosks to identify and recognise strengths, identify areas for improvement and look to increase sales and profitability via your leadership and management skills. You will regularly engage with Chef Managers and their teams and set individual targets. This role is all about creating strategies and developing new ideas to help drive performance, successfully motivating and managing teams, recruiting amazing colleagues into the business and recognising and rewarding our teams and individuals. It takes commitment, hard work and dedication to be a successful Area Manager at Hana Group, but this doesn’t mean you cannot have fun and enjoy the benefits and rewards that this role brings!
Responsibilities as an Area Manager:
- Coach, mentor and motivate Chef Managers & teams to achieve amazing results
- Identify and implement strategies to drive sales and meet targets
- Help our teams follow required standards to maintain quality products
- Identify areas for improvement
- Recruit high quality Chef Managers and Sushi Chefs into the business and ensure they feel like part of the family
- Complete administrative & adhoc tasks as assigned, manage stock taking activity and ensuring our Food and Health & Safety is executed to the highest standards
- Ensure that our Kiosks look the part every day
- Be happy, friendly, smile and have fun

- Store Management / Multi Store Management or Area management experience is required
- Asian cuisine / Catering / Restaurant / Hospitality experience is even better!

- Food Hygiene Level 3/HACCP/Allergens/Health and Safety Level 2 is desired but we can offer a full training plan
