Hampton Behavioral Health Center is a private behavioral healthcare center offering advanced behavioral health, diagnostic treatment services for adults, adolescents, and older adults in inpatient and outpatient programs. We are looking for a Per Diem Music, Recreation, or Art Therapist to provide direct patient care on assigned units.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting Creative Therapy group sessions and doctor‑ordered individual assessments.
- Completing Creative Therapy documentation, including assessments, group summaries, and billing within time constraints.
- Serving as a member of the treatment team and applying principles of growth/development for adolescent and geriatric patients.
Qualifications Job Requirements:
- Music Therapist: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited school and Board Certified Music Therapist.
- Recreation Therapist: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited school and Board Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist.
- Art Therapist: Master’s Degree from an accredited school and Registered Art Therapist.
- Weekend availability.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Inpatient psychiatric experience and ability to work with large groups (preferred).
