Hampton Behavioral Health Center is a private behavioral healthcare center offering advanced behavioral health diagnostic treatment services for adults, adolescents, and older adults in both inpatient and outpatient programs. We are currently looking for a Full Time Group Licensed Social Worker to work on our Dual Diagnose/Addiction Medicine. The Social Worker is responsible for monitoring the patient's mental and psycho-social needs and providing the services to meet these needs in order to attain or maintain the highest practical level of physical, mental, and psycho-social well-being. The Social Worker coordinates and manages services provided to each patient to establish a focused, individualized program geared towards specific goals unique to that patient. They act as a liaison for patient, family, and staff, overseeing day-to-day operations of all care provided to ensure successful patient outcomes.

You will be responsible for clinical assessment, treatment of designated patients on assigned unit, discharge planning, and participation as a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team. You will use an understanding of principles of growth to assess each patient’s age-specific needs and provide age-specific treatment and care. You will also be responsible for conducting individual, family, and group therapy by encouraging open communication and verbalization of feelings in an attempt to increase self-awareness and identify and resolve problems.

Qualifications Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work and licensure as a social worker in the State of New Jersey required.
  • Experience with Dual Diagnose and/or Addiction Medicine preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years clinical expertise in individual, group, family, and marital therapy.
  • Previous experience in case management discharge planning; psychiatric inpatient experience preferred; strong writing and communication skills.
