Job responsibilities:
- Supervision of learners would be part of your job.
- Providing counselling and health education.
- Admitting or discharging patients to and from the caseload and referring to other care providers as appropriate.
- Recording clear and contemporaneous consultation notes to agreed standards.
Person Specification:
Experience: Newly qualified GPs would be considered; must have UK experience of VTS training or already be a GP working in the UK.
Qualifications:
- GMC Registered GP without any restrictions or warnings on the register.
- UK GP: None.
- GMC registration: MRCGP.
- Performer's list of England: No restrictions on license.
- Disclosure and Barring Service Check: This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975, and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
